What are the responsibilities and job description for the ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENT position at Saucon Valley School District?
The Saucon Valley School District seeks an Assistant Superintendent to serve as part of the Superintendent Cabinet and contribute to the overall strategic success of the Saucon Valley School District's overall mission. This position is responsible for developing, implementing and leading projects, conducting research and identifying opportunities for growth within the District in areas including but not limited to : instructional practices, professional staff development and innovative academic programs that yield the highest standard of student achievement and instructional excellence. The candidate must organize logistics and take on detailed tasks that help initiatives succeed within the District. The position provides strategic and operational guidance and support to administrators, teachers, and staff as they design, develop, launch, and evaluate academic programs and approaches.
REPORTS TO : Superintendent
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Possess those qualifications as required by the School Laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania (Administrative Certificate or Letter of Eligibility).
- Educational Leadership experience or demonstrated experience in directing initiatives or innovation; project management, innovative thought and leadership
- Experience as an instructional leader and data driven decision making for professional growth and development
- Experience administering complex projects and monitoring budgets
- Ability to work effectively with professionals in an academic setting
- Those qualifications shall be considered minimum requirements.
