Job Description
750.00 sign on bonus
The Shipping Clerk will properly load and unload all trucks coming in and out of the plant. While also insuring all materials received are secured properly and scanned for inventory accuracy and traceability.
Work Schedule:
Sunday thru Thursday : 7:00am - 3:30pm
Shift ends when orders are complete
Occasional Fridays and required OT.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Matches each load with the invoice provided for that individual order
- Ensures that all damaged product is removed before shipment
- Sends the proper paperwork along with each truck/trailer and ensures that it is forwarded to the proper departments
- Keeps work area clean
- Operates electric pallet jacks and High Lift in a safe manner at all times
- Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with co-workers, vendors, and others
- Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
- Must have good organization skills
- Must be willing to wear steel-toed shoes
- Must be at least 18 years old
