">The Production Supervisor role at Sauer Brands, Inc. is responsible for leading daily operations and ensuring the smooth execution of production processes.
">Main Responsibilities:
">Oversee daily start-up meetings to communicate safety expectations, production requirements, and OEE standards.
Organize labor needs, manage vacation coverage, absenteeism, and overtime while focusing on managing labor to standard.
Implement and maintain 5S and lean manufacturing processes through Gemba walks and Kaizen events.
Ensure employees receive proper training in safety, operations, and housekeeping, with follow-up meetings throughout the training process.
Work with HR and plant leadership to achieve long-term development and career growth of operations personnel.
Lead operating teams in TPM program execution and perform periodic audits on operations processes.
Develop and follow leader standard work, ensuring all hourly employees' time is properly recorded in the payroll system.
Maintain plant policies and procedures adherence and collaborate with HR in the hiring process.
Perform new hire reviews and develop training schedules/deadlines.
Handle employee disciplinary issues using conflict resolution techniques and implement manufacturing discipline.
Requirements

Ability to work under pressure and produce results.
Ability to operate a computer in a Windows-based environment.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum of 2 years supervisory/lead experience in a manufacturing or environment.
