What are the responsibilities and job description for the Saugus Middle High School Saturday Academy GRANT FUNDED REPOST position at Saugus Middle High School?
Statement of Duties:
Teachers will provide additional academic support and instruction to high school and middle school students based on the Quarter 1 grades. The academy will run on Saturday mornings.
Teachers will communicate effectively with students, parents, classroom teachers, and administration regarding intervention work and student progress.
Teachers will provide direct instruction in major subject areas as needed, monitor attendance/effort in program, and assess progress.
Compensation:
SEA contractual rate $40.00 per hour for work completed outside of contractual time
Not to exceed 24 hours for the length of the program.
Teachers will be compensated for one hour of prep time for each Saturday Academy date worked.
Hours/work subject to approval of Saugus Middle High School Principal and/or the Middle School Associate Principal.
Organizational Relationship or Line of Authority:
Responsible to Saugus Middle High School Principal, as well as the Middle School Associate Principal.
