The Sauk Rapids-Rice Public School District No. 47 is seeking an educational speech / language pathologist to provide speech therapy services. Located in Sauk Rapids, MN, minutes from downtown St. Cloud and approximately an hour northwest of the Twin Cities, Sauk Rapids-Rice Public School provides quality programs to approximately 4,550 .

Primary Responsibilities :
Provide speech therapy services to students with disabilities, student evaluation, and IEP case managementProvide an educational atmosphere where students have the opportunity to fulfill their potential for intellectual, physical and psychological growthImplement instructional activities using Minnesota standards that contribute to a climate where students are actively engaged in meaningful learning experiencesIdentify, select and modify instructional resources to support standards and to meet the needs of the students with varying backgrounds, interests, and learning needsAssist in assessing changing curricular needs and offers plans for improvement, particularly in the area of designing meaningful instructional opportunities utilizing the newly available one-to-one Technology using Minnesota standardsProvide a positive environment in which students are encouraged to be actively engaged in the learning processCommunicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with students, parents, and other professionals on a regular basisCollaborate with peers to enhance the instructional environmentOutstanding candidates will have :
Ability to work with diverse learnersExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDesire to work collaboratively with students, parents / guardians, staff and administrationStrong classroom management skillsExcellent organizational skillsKnowledge of best practices, including use of technology resources, for learnersExperience in creating student-centered learning opportunities that address state standards and support students to become life-long learnersExperience effectively using a variety of data sources to inform instructionRequired Qualifications :
Valid Minnesota teaching licenseBachelor's and Master's degreePreferred Qualifications :
Valid Minnesota teaching license as a speech language pathologistExperience using PBIS to augment student engagementContract :
1.0 FTE beginning the 2025-2026 school year.
Salary and Benefits :
Salary based on the 2023-2025 Sauk Rapids-Rice Education Associations Master Agreement starting at $49,846 up to $92,999.
Benefits based on full-time employment and may be pro-rated for part-time positions. Benefits may include the following :
