Job Summary:
We are seeking highly qualified individuals to join our team as Director of Human Resources, Athletic Trainer, Adjunct - CNA, and Adjunct Faculty - Welding and HVAC.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits, and training.
- Develop and administer a comprehensive sports medical program for SVCC's intercollegiate sports programs.
- Teach Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) courses and develop curriculum materials.
- Teach welding and HVAC courses and develop curriculum materials.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred in human resources or related field.
- Five to six years of experience in human resources or related experience required.
- Board Certified (BOC) as an Athletic Trainer, eligible for State of Illinois athletic training licensure, current CPR/AED, valid driver's license, and two (2) years of prior experience as an athletic trainer or graduate assistant is required.
- Master's degree in Athletic training or related field is preferred.
- Current license as a Registered Nurse (or eligibility for license) in Illinois, two (2) years of experience, Train the Trainer, and an approved evaluator certification or MSN and approved evaluator certification are required.
- Extensive experience in one or all of the following: TIG, MIG, Industrial MIG, Shielded Metal Arc (Stick), and/or robotic welding. Welding certificate. Five years welding experience in lieu of certificate.
- High School diploma or GED and a minimum of 2,000 hours of HVAC experience required.
- Prior experience working with peer mentors/mentees is preferred.
