Product Configuration Control Specialist

Sauna360 Inc, a Watkins Wellness/Masco company, would love you to join our dynamic team as a Product Configuration Control Specialist and be the key to ensuring our products are always at their best! We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual for this position.  As a Product Configuration Control Specialist, you would have the responsibility of ensuring the accuracy and integrity of product configurations and associated documentation throughout the product lifecycle.  The salary range is $47,000 - $58,000 annually.

Key Responsibilities: 

Product Data Management: 

• Oversee the organization and maintenance of product-related data, including part numbers, BOMs, specifications, and revisions. 
• Utilize specialized software systems (e.g., ERP) to manage product data efficiently and accurately. 
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and procurement teams to ensure that product data is up-to-date and accessible to authorized personnel. 

BOM Coordination: 

• Create, maintain, and update bills of materials (BOMs) to accurately reflect product configurations and requirements. 
• Work closely with engineering, production, procurement, and quality control teams to ensure that BOMs are aligned with product designs and manufacturing processes. 
• Manage part number maintenance, including the addition, removal, and modification of part numbers as needed. 

Engineering Change Management: 

• Coordinate and facilitate the engineering change process, including the initiation, review, approval, and implementation of product changes. 
• Ensure that proposed changes are properly documented, tracked, and communicated to relevant stakeholders. 
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to assess the impact of proposed changes on product configurations, BOMs, and documentation. 

Document Control: 

• Ensure that documents, such as BOMs, engineering drawings, specifications, and manuals, are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with internal and external standards. 
• Maintain document control processes and procedures to ensure consistency and traceability. 

Qualifications: 

• Proficiency in using PLM, ERP, or similar software systems for product data management and document control. 
• Previous experience in a similar role, with a strong background in engineering change management, product data management, document control, and BOM coordination. 
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. 
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. 
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of data accuracy and document control.
