What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dietitian position at Saunders Staffing?
Saunders Staffing is recruiting for a licensed dietitian to work in the Beckley area. Must be licensed in the state of WV and in good standing. Hours are flexible and 40 hours per month. Travel stipend is available.Wage is according to years of experience.Long term contract is in place.Job duties Dietitian must review/evaluate all new admissions within the first 7 days of admission.Must monitor all charts of tube feeding residents on a monthly basis when applicable.Must complete nutritional assessments on the facility residents as needed including but not limited to annual, significant change, and new admissions.Must make recommendations to the Facility Physicians for diet changes based on lab values, this includes but is not limited to Nutritional Supplements either oral or tube fed.Must review diet orders for appropriateness on a monthly basis or as necessary.Must monitor all charts of any diabetic residents on a weekly basis and make any necessary recommendations toward diet change.Must monitor all charts of residents with decubitus ulcers on a monthly basis and make any as needed changes or recommendations.Must be available for consultations needed for Care Conference meetings and oversee weekly weight management meetings. These meetings are held during normal business hours M-F 8a to 4p excluding any WV Holidays.
