The Role | Supply Chain Management
Sauron is creating a new paradigm in how homeowners interact with their properties and security systems. As the first member of our supply chain management team, you will play a pivotal role in leading the commercial efforts for hardware elements of our security systems. You will drive the vendor and contract manufacturer survey, selection, and negotiation process, own the commercial agreements with our supply chain partners, manage those relationships, and play a pivotal role in ensuring that we are producing high quality, commercially viable hardware products. You will work alongside cross-functional teams including product design, electrical engineering, and our installation team to deliver world-class products.

- Continuously evaluating supply chain performance, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing improvements to enhance agility, reduce costs, and ensure product excellence.
- Working closely with Product, Engineering, and Finance teams to align supply chain strategies with company objectives and product roadmaps.
- 8 years of experience in supply chain management (GSM), sourcing, or operations, preferably within consumer electronics or hardware startups.
- Proven track record in managing contract manufacturers and global vendor relationships.
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-expectation startup environment.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and supply chain tools.
- Experience in luxury goods, high-end consumer electronics, or premium home products.
- Background in international logistics or hardware launch cycles.
- Experience as the first member of a supply chain management team and with establishing infrastructure, toolsets, and operational norms.
- Familiarity with camera, audio, and kinematic control hardware.
