OBJECTIVE
Perform a variety of warehousing and shipping activities as assigned. Package and prepares for shipping customer finish goods orders, receives pick tickets, completes and sends to office for billing.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS |
- Obtain finish goods from warehouse via orders, lay outs, marks and stamps in preparation for shipping. Performs any and all other tasks for shipment, including logging charges and labeling via UPS computer system and loading trucks. Prepare for shipping all other company items as requested. Completes shipping ASN and EDI requirements.
- Package and prepares for shipping customer finish goods orders, receives pick tickets, completes and sends to office for billing.
- Audits all Freight and Parcel shipments as needed.
- Records daily production flow numbers.
- Complete all necessary paperwork, documentation and enters appropriate data into computer system as required.
- Load, unload and transports materials, components and supplies using fork truck, hand truck company vehicle, and other moving devices as required.
- Maintains standard level of production output given normal level of production interference.
- Uses prescribed methods to maintain quality standards.
- Maintains a clean and orderly work area. Cleans and maintains equipment as required. Follows specific safety and operating procedures. May train or instruct others how to perform this job.
- May perform other related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Job requires knowledge of and adherence to safety procedures and fork truck operation. Job also requires knowledge computer operation and material handling procedures and policies. May train or instruct others how to perform this job. May perform other related duties as assigned.
