- Operating a Railcar mover -we provide training and certification
- Using a Railcar mover to sort cars on the tracks to prepare for unloading activities
- Visually inspecting rail cars and performing air brake inspections
- Connecting steam lines to rail cars and monitoring temperature
- Unloading feedstock from rail cars using pumps and control systems
- Cross training and being willing to assist in the different functions performed at the facility
- Participating in and promoting Savage safety program
- Perform basic maintenance tasks
- Basic computer skills
- Attend and pass all training associated with job-related coursework. This includes but is not limited to: OSHA, HazMat and FRA-related courses
- Willingness to wear required PPE
- Clear drug/alcohol test / criminal background check
- Rail Industry and/or rail unloading/loading experience is a plus
- Work experience in an industrial environment
- Valid driver’s license
- Read, write understand, and follow written and/or verbal instructions in English
- Here are some of the physical requirements of this role:
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Comfortable with heights up to 30 feet
- Must be able to lift 50lbs independently
