The Basics
Location: You will based in the Midwest and the work will take place at various grain elevators, flour mills and soybean processing plants located throughout the Midwest and in North Carolina. This position will require travel to all locations
Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience
Days/Hours: Typically, you will work Monday-Friday and you are home most weekends. Occasional work over weekends, although rare, does occur
Equipment Used: Various grain handling and processing equipment
Software Used: Microsoft office products, SIMON Maintenance system

What you’ll be doing:
Manages all aspects of the organization’s facility maintenance program providing training to the team on best reliability practices. This will include, but not be limited to:
Coordinates the development, management, assessments, and initiatives of the organization’s reliability program
Manages the organization’s maintenance, reliability, permitting, designs, installations, optimizations, compliance, and enhancement of operating facilities
Ensures all facilities are safe and compliant with all applicable codes
Establishes procedures and training criteria for facility personnel
Coordinates the department's internship program
Provides leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to the team
Acts as a lead or first level supervisor
Requirements to be successful in this position:
Comprehensive knowledge of the industry standards and principles with a minimum 10 years of experience
Background/experience with the current SIMON Maintenance system is preferred
Bachelor's Degree in agricultural-related studies or Business with relevant work experience is strongly preferred.
Able to handle complex issues and problems and refers only the most complex issues to higher-level staff
Possesses comprehensive knowledge of the subject matter
Adaptability and able travel extensively US and Mexico
Must possess strong leadership skills and the ability to work in a team environment
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications
This job requires the ability to read and comprehend written and oral operational and safety instructions and related rules, policies and memos, and to communicate clearly with co-workers and supervisors
For safety reasons, must be able to read, write, understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions in English
