Here is what you will be doing:
Unload pipe from railcars and load trucks
Operate or move equipment around the yard and shop
Assist leadership with other assignments as required
Deliver pipe to well locations with the Clean and Drift Pipe Inspectors
Professional interaction and collaboration with other Savage Team Members and customers
Requirements of a successful Equipment Operator:
Work any shift, including weekends, holidays and overtime as needed
Flexibility and ability to work on various shop, maintenance, and yard tasks
Experience in operation of Pettibone, front-end loaders, material handler, and other equipment are a plus
Read, write, and understand English, follow written and/or verbal instruction, and possess basic math and computer skills
Able to work with a team, take direction from supervisors(s), adhere to required work schedules, focus attention on details, and follow work rules
Reliable, honest and demonstrate integrity while working with a sense of urgency
Education/Experience:
High School or GED
2-5 years of oil field experience preferred, but not required
Physical Requirements:
Work in adverse conditions (heat and cold)
Handle heavy parts and pieces of equipment
Climb on and off the equipment
Lift 50 lbs. or more independently
