Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
In this position you will develop the skills required to become an effective leader as outlined below.
Provide leadership, support and accountability to the implementation of all required safety, regulatory and Company programs and/or protocols
Coordinate maintenance and repairs
Oversee elevator operations
Schedule and lead Team Members
Perform safety inspections, monitor facility operations and quality controls
Effectively communicate tasks, directives, and policies with both senior management and supervised Team Members
Ability to read and comprehend both written and oral operational and safety rules, policies and procedures, and to communicate clearly with fellow Team Members and leaders
Exposure to both safety and reliability teams
This position is expected to rotate between the three Kansas City elevators to develop leadership skills and provide operational coverage as needed
Travel to different locations beyond KC and work different shifts/departments as needed
Will be required to obtain applicable certifications within the first 180 days
Required Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent. College education preferred with course of study in agriculture or business administration preferred
Must have the ability to work in a team environment, to interact with all levels of operational management and regulatory agencies
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Work experience requiring strict adherence to regulatory requirements is preferred
Work experience related to inventory management and product quality programs is preferred

Must be able to walk for extended periods of time over uneven surfaces
Will be exposed to various site hazards, including but not limited to loud noises and flashing lights, dust and fumes, hazardous materials, heavy equipment and machinery, and other situations specific to the work and location
