Savage Services, an established materials management company, is seeking a Industrial Electrician who will be a part of a specialized team of our Coke Handling Operation in Port Arthur, TX. The successful candidate will maintain and repair coke-handling process equipment. Equipment will range from but not limited to, overhead bridge cranes (Konecrane), belt conveyors, skid mount hydraulic pump units, skid mount lubrication pump systems, and coke drum un-heading / re-heading devices.
Here is what you will be doing:
Must understand and implement the Savage Maintenance Program
Perform a pre/post-shift equipment inspection
Maintain and report spare parts inventory
Properly record and complete maintenance reports and service records
Repair and maintain bridge crane electrical components, motors, gearboxes, crane wheels, crane cables, PLC, drives, inventors and plant-specific equipment
Maintain good relations and open communication with coworkers and management via radio and other proper means
Maintain a clean work environment by removing trash and debris from all areas of responsibility including structures, offices, restrooms, break rooms, vehicles, etc.
Complete PM services on plant and process equipment
Supports the Savage S7 Delivery System
Requirements of a successful Industrial Electrician:
Master Electrician License preferred
At least 5 years of experience reading Electrical Prints, troubleshooting PLCs and Frequency Drives
Minimum of 5 years of experience with heavy equipment maintenance and repair
Knowledge and working experience with different types of welding and cutting
