Here is what you will be doing:
Unload pipe from railcars and load trucks
Professional interaction and collaboration with other Savage Team Members and customers
Perform inspection preparation in the most economical, cost-effective manner, while taking into account operating life cycle, safety, and replacement considerations
Operate or move equipment around the yard and shop
Assist with maintenance, clean-up, and other duties as assigned
Dependability in attendance required
Follow written and/or verbal instructions with minimal supervision
Read, understand, and follow field inspection criteria according to DS1 and all A.P.I. inspection manuals
Clean driving record
Comply with all safety standards
Physical Requirements:
Commitment to working safely at all times
Exposed to the outdoor elements
Must be physically able to handle heavy parts and pieces of equipment
Climb on and off the equipment
Physically demanding work will be a daily function of this position
Climb and crawl when needed
Frequently lift 75 lbs.
