Are you looking for an opportunity to expand your career? Savage is looking for an Operations Supervisor at our North Salt Lake operation. In this role, you will provide ongoing support to the Operations Manager and team by helping them to achieve their goals in a timely manner..
What you'll be doing:
Lead Team members in completing daily tasks
Manage multiple communication channels between operations, back office and team members
Utilize automatic and manual systems, spreadsheets to track financials, logistics and metrics
Involvement in S7
Ensure we meet our customers’ expectations and are proactive in meeting their needs including site meetings.
Assist in the daily management of day-to-day operations of logistics, people development, scheduling, etc.
Validate data daily for accuracy prior to submitting to coordinators/managers
What you'll need:
College degree preferred but not required
2 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in an industrial/ professional setting
Strong Computer Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, emphasis on excel experience
Can learn new systems and implement them efficiently
Commitment to working safely at all times
Ability to be exposed to the outdoor elements
Must be physically able to do the following:
Work, walk, and stand on uneven surfaces
ability to lift 75 lbs if needed
Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
Operate basic hand tools
Wear required PPE
