Job Description:
- Provide assistance to CDL drivers while learning Saval Foodservice's policies, procedures and expectations.
- Help deliver products into customer locations.
- Assist driver with all facets of making a delivery under the direction of the driver.
- Learn safe driving and delivering skills.
- Utilize a hand cart or pallet jack to transport product.
- Engage in DOT/CDL learning.
- Candidate will be trained to move into a CDL Class B driving position.
- Candidate will be given some training and financial assistance to obtain CDL Class B license.
Requirements:
- Minimally, possess a current, in good standing Class "C" MD Driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Class "B" CDL License preferred.
- Basic math skills and excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
- High School Diploma or GED.
