Primary Function : This position is responsible for working as a consultant to area schools to optimize the potential of children with autism or other developmental disabilities which involves carefully analyzing the environment and assisting the educational staff in developing a program to assist students in acquiring skills.
Reports To : Program Manager, Department for Specialized Instruction
Salary Schedule : Grade PS-3
Work Days : 219 Days
Experience, Skill, and Certification :
Education : Master's degree from an accredited college or university in the field of behavior analysis
REQUIREMENTS :
- Behavior Analyst certification
- One or more years of supervised experience developing, training, implementing, and monitoring behavior plans for children with autism or developmental disabilities
- Experience in developing, training, implementing, and monitoring verbal behavior programs
- Effective oral and written communication skills; and outstanding social skills

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Incumbents will be considered "at will." Appropriate pay will be determined based on the Grade as determined by Human Resources and allowable experience. The work calendar will be 219 days. Exempt Grade PS-3 Revised 06-16
