PRIMARY FUNCTION : As a SCCPSS District HVAC technician you will install, maintain and repair commercial and residential HVAC systems in all buildings. You will be asked to repair and perform Plant Maintenance on large Hydronic, VRV, VRF, Citi-Multi systems, and Reheat Systems. You will coordinate with other construction teams to install HVAC systems at the proper time in the construction process

Education Level : High School Diploma or G.E.D. Certificate and above 5 years as a Certified HVAC Technician Associate Degree in HVACR Preferred : Four (4) year apprenticeship program; HVAC EPA Certification Type - Universal

Incumbents will be considered "at will." Appropriate pay will be determined based on the Grade as determined by Human Resources and allowable experience. This position is considered to be "essential personnel, critical staff" when there is an event that creates security challenges or disruptions to district operations. This position may be required to work during identified periods of an emergency as defined in Policy Regulation GBRB-R, Title : Professional Personnel Time Schedules.
