Delivery Driver

Join the team at Savannah Distributing as a Non-CDL Delivery Driver and play a critical role in ensuring our products are safely and efficiently delivered to customers. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and representing our company in a professional manner. No CDL is required for this position. Drive local and surrounding areas; home every night and off on weekends.

* Base Pay Commission paid on a biweekly basis; Quarterly Safety Bonus; Annual Retention Bonus beginning after 2 years of Service 

*MUST PASS DRUG SCREEN, BACKGROUND AND PHYSICAL

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Safely transport products to each designated stop on assigned route
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate delivery vehicle
• Pick up returns and necessary documentation for processing
• Collect payments from customers
• Complete all required logs and reports
• Adhere to company safety standards at all times
• Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Basic understanding of general safety principles
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to pass a driver physical exam and maintain a clean driving record
• Ability to drive a 26ft box truck
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Pass pre-employment and random drug screens
• Ability to follow all state and federal laws while driving
• Basic mathematical skills
• Dependable with excellent time management skills
• Excellent communication skills for creating positive customer experiences

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions
• Frequently required to reach, bend, stoop, and lift 15-30 pounds, and occasionally lift 60 pounds
