Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Cheerleading Coach to lead our cheer program. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a commitment to fostering a positive and encouraging environment for our cheerleaders. This role involves not only coaching cheerleading techniques but also educating students on teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship. The Cheerleading Coach will work closely with students of various skill levels, helping them develop their abilities while ensuring their safety and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement training programs that enhance cheerleading skills, including stunts, jumps, and choreography.
- Educate students on the importance of teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship in competitive cheerleading.
- Manage behavior effectively to maintain a positive training environment.
- Organize practices, competitions, and performances while ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to provide updates on student progress and program activities.
- Foster an inclusive atmosphere that encourages participation from all skill levels.
- Provide mentorship to students, promoting personal growth both on and off the field.
Experience
- Previous experience as a cheerleading coach or in a similar role is preferred.
- Skills in related areas such as Karate, Judo, or Basketball are a plus.
- Experience working with students in childcare or educational settings is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with gym environments and safety protocols is essential.
- Certification as a lifeguard or swim instructor can be beneficial but is not required.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.42 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- After school
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
