What are the responsibilities and job description for the Postdoc Research Associate - Cementitious Materials position at Savannah River National Laboratory?
SRNL’s Materials Technology and Energy Division is seeking qualified candidates to grow the laboratory’s portfolio in the areas of materials sciences, materials development for the immobilization of nuclear wastes, and the upcycling of non-nuclear waste types mainly focusing in the area of cementitious materials.
This position will help support research platforms in the development of environmentally friendly, low carbon footprint, cementitious materials, and processes through creation of innovative technologies to support a broad range of industrial market and US government needs. The selected candidate will be working closely with more senior staff by safely performing and documenting research results; executing research activities; interfacing with researchers and engineers; publishing at least one peer-reviewed manuscript.
The Postdoctoral Research Associate positions are fixed term assignments within the company and benefits eligible.
