SRNL’s Global Security Directorate (GSD) is seeking a highly qualified and motivated Program Coordinator who will focus on project coordination and execution for various NNSA programs.

The Global Security Directorate (GSD) of SRNL provides a team focused on staff development and infrastructure upgrades for nuclear reprocessing science and technology programs at SRNL. GSD is growing its support of its critical NNSA nonproliferation portfolios and is building its teams to support these enduring programs. GSD is looking for people who can use their talents and experience to help build state of the art business programs as SRNL continues to use it diverse creative staff to deliver the highest quality programs to its customer.

SRNL’s Global Security Directorate (GSD) is seeking a highly qualified and motivated Program Coordinator who will focus on project coordination and execution for various NNSA programs.
Responsibilities
- Maintain multiple project SharePoint sites.
- Assist in developing and maintaining multiple project schedules in Microsoft project.
- Manage various ongoing projects and coordinate all team members to keep workflow on track.
- Manage project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current and properly tracked.
- Communicate with sponsors to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
- Assist Program Manager maintaining multiple budgets by tracking monthly labor and commitments.
- Tracking tasks, action items, and due dates to ensure time is allocated to complete tasks and address rapidly evolving needs.
- Assisting, planning, and execution of hosting visitors and sponsors at the laboratory and on the Savannah River Site.
- Interface with SRNL leadership, federal oversight resources, and other sites in the DOE complex.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in fields of project management, international affairs, security studies, national security studies, or related field.
- For ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, US Citizenship is LegallyRequired
- At least 7 years of experience successfully performing project coordination duties with technical engineering or scientific projects.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills, ability to successfully interact with DOE, project reviewers, project staff members and senior laboratory management.
- Demonstrated experience managing diverse, high performing teams.
- Active Q clearance
- Prior experience in supporting NNSA/DOE programs
- Project Management Professional (or equivalent) certification
- DOE National Laboratory experience
