What You'll Do in This Position
This role will support the SRPPF Design Authority (DA) management team and will report to the SRPPF DA Project Execution manager. The DA Project Execution team provides scope, priority, and budget direction back across the DA organization. They ensure alignment across the SRPPF DA organization, and proactively address any gap or issues found to ensure the DA meets project needs to support the on-time project completion.
The successful candidate will have experience in the following.
SRNS is required by DOE to conduct a pre-employment drug test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, criminal records, and employment history, and education verifications. Positions with SRNS may require applicants to obtain and maintain a DOE L or Q-level security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship. Factors such as pre-employment background review results, dual citizenship status, and unpaid and/or unfiled taxes may impact your ability to obtain a security clearance. This list of factors is not exhaustive; pre-employment information and security clearance requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Degree in a technical area with broad experience in engineering, operations, marketing, strategic and business planning.
Qualified Cost Account Manager (CAM) preferred.

What You'll Do in This Position

The successful candidate will have experience in the following.
- Familiarity with SRPPF DA systems with a basic understanding of how they operate and work together.
- Experience in the management of large project scope (cost and activities). With a solid understanding of earned value management systems (EVMS). Qualified Cost account manager preferred.
- Familiarity with Oracle P6, project schedules, and reporting on project schedules to the management team.
- Experience in defining project scope using standard project management methodology. A good comprehension of technical projects and the ability to translate into schedule logic with work content is advantageous.
- Ability to dig into schedule and cost performance variances and facilitate the development of appropriate corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence and bring the activity back on track.
- Problem solving skills with the ability to facilitate the team creating a solution.
- Familiarity with modern manufacturing and lean concepts and technologies.
- Ability to manage multiple activities and projects.
- Ability to communicate through all levels of management and across multiple functions.
- Assist with project and program new initiatives as needed.
