What You'll Do in This Position
SRNS is seeking to hire experienced Engineering and Technical Support Specialists (E& TSS) to work within various organizations, including Operational Technology's {OT ) engineering systems. SRNS is a company devoted to making the world safer through disciplined performance in producing and protecting nuclear materials for our nation's security, promoting global nuclear deterrence, and protecting the environment for future generations.
E&TSS may be assigned to support one of the following specific facility operations and support specific maintenance of the following types of systems among others :
- Nuclear Chemical and Industrial Unit Operations
- Industrial Mechanical systems (Nuclear and Non-nuclear
HVAC, Rotating Equipment)
Gases)
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to :

Security Clearance Information
SRNS is required by DOE to conduct a pre-employment drug test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, criminal records, and employment history, and education verifications. Positions with SRNS may require applicants to obtain and maintain a DOE L or Q-level security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship. Factors such as pre-employment background review results, dual citizenship status, and unpaid and / or unfiled taxes may impact your ability to obtain a security clearance. This list of factors is not exhaustive; pre-employment information and security clearance requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

High School Diploma, GED, or other equivalent State Credential
Other Qualifications
Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance, if required.
Qualifications We Desire
College degree in engineering, technical or mechanical area is preferred.
Practical experience in facility production operations. General understanding and familiarity with electrical and mechanical documents, blueprints, drawings, and schematics and various computer applications may be desirable depending upon the position and specific duties.
Conceptual understanding of various facility processes, systems, and equipment. Working knowledge of site work control procedures and practices for both maintenance and operations. General understanding of work hazards, safety programs, operating configuration, and lockout / hold identification.
