What You'll Do in This Position

The hourly base rate of pay for this internship starts at $18.00, and may increase based on major and class standing.

Will assist in the development, support, and maintenance of Microsoft 365 Applications, such as SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive. Responsibilities include troubleshooting issues, supporting end-users, and helping with the integration of various tools within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. The intern will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve productivity and efficiency, while gaining hands-on experience in cloud-based technology.

Security Clearance Information

SRNS is required by DOE to conduct a pre-employment drug test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, criminal records, and employment history, and education verifications. Positions with SRNS may require applicants to obtain and maintain a DOE L or Q-level security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship. Factors such as pre-employment background review results, dual citizenship status, and unpaid and/or unfiled taxes may impact your ability to obtain a security clearance. Qualifications We Require

Must have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5.

Must be a full-time student at an accredited four-year college or university, or within one year after finishing a degree program.

Must have completed freshman year of college.

Must successfully complete Savannah River Site General Employee Training and substance abuse processing.

Other Qualifications

Unofficial transcripts are required and must be uploaded into BrassRing before the job posting closes.

Undergraduate or graduate student progressing towards a Technical or Business
related degree. Proficient in Microsoft Office products (i.e., Word, Excel, and
PowerPoint)

Qualifications We Desire

Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive) and basic knowledge of cloud computing.
Problem Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Experience: Any relevant experience with Microsoft Technologies, PowerShell, or cloud platforms is a plus.
