What You'll Do in This Position

Leads, either through line Engineering management or programmatic Engineering management within the Level 2 Engineering Manager's area of responsibility, a significant portion of Engineering organization or programmatic functional area within Engineering.

For the sub-organization that is managed :

• Ensures that strategy and objectives by the Level 3 manager are met
• Has accountability for quality of the products, schedule, and budget for the sub-organization
• Assesses performance of the organization
• Defines work to be accomplished by subordinate organizations / work teams and individual contributors

Security Clearance Information

SRNS is required by DOE to conduct a pre-employment drug test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, criminal records, and employment history, and education verifications. Positions with SRNS may require applicants to obtain and maintain a DOE L or Q-level security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship. Factors such as pre-employment background review results, dual citizenship status, and unpaid and / or unfiled taxes may impact your ability to obtain a security clearance. This list of factors is not exhaustive; pre-employment information and security clearance requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Qualifications We Require

High School Diploma, GED, or other equivalent State Credential

Other Qualifications

Ability to obtain and maintain a Q level security clearance.

Qualifications We Desire

Experience in nuclear activities with a focus on Tritium production.

Advanced degree from an ABET accredited school in a technical or engineering field and / or management is desirable.

Complex chemical process experience and program management experience
