As a key member of the Wealth Strategy Team, the Wealth Transfer Specialist delivers expert estate and financial planning services to high-net-worth clients. This role involves reviewing fiduciary income tax returns, estate and gift tax filings, and charitable trust returns, while ensuring seamless execution of Savants Ideal Futures Wealth Transfer Process. With advanced estate planning knowledge and proven client-facing expertise, you'll collaborate with lead advisors, internal teams, and external professionals to create an integrated wealth management experience.

The Wealth Transfer Specialist can expect to focus in the following areas:
Gather, organize and synthesize client data and review client estate planning documents, financial statements, tax returns and all other information necessary to develop Wealth Transfer Deliverables or other estate planning analysis
Prepare Wealth Transfer Advisory Service deliverables, which may include:
Wealth Transfer Diagrams and Summaries
Wealth Transfer Reports
Wealth Transfer Audits
Review Wealth Transfer Advisory Service deliverables prepared by other team members
Draft estate planning considerations to be reviewed by Wealth Transfer Advisor or Director of Wealth Transfer
Prepare and review fiduciary income tax returns, gift tax returns, estate tax returns, and charitable trust returns
Independently manage deceased client cases
Review Wealth Transfer background deliverables prepared by other team members
Review Expert Rules prepared by other Wealth Transfer team members
Act as a resource for advisors and clients by fielding estate planning related questions
Act as a resource for advisors and CSRs for account titling and beneficiary designation questions
Act as a resource to other members of the Wealth Transfer team for editing and team-brainstorming.
Conduct estate and gift tax research
Assist with internal Ideal Futures University presentations or other advisor education activities
Assist with the maintenance and compilation of tax research, reference libraries, and Wealth Transfer software
Assist with the development of Wealth Transfer workflows and other advisor support systems
Cultivate client and advisor relationships, while providing excellent client service
Assist with the creation of estate planning content for use in blogs and other Savant marketing materials
Perform other duties as requested
Maintain a team approach by assisting and filling in for others
The Wealth Transfer Specialist II position typically requires the following qualifications:
Education:
Bachelors Degree in Prelaw, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field from an accredited college or university
Experience:
5 - 10 years of experience in comprehensive financial planning or estate and trust administration services with demonstrated ability to read, interpret, and analyze trust and other estate planning documents
3 - 5 years of experience in primarily preparing fiduciary income tax returns, estate, and gift tax returns, and/or charitable trust returns is preferred
Designations/Certifications:
Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) preferred
Financial planning/wealth management acumen, judgment and experience
Proven client-facing experience
Independent project management skills
Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as well as financial planning and estate modeling software
Strong analytical and organizational capabilities
Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
Excellent communication and listening skills
Client first attitude
Team player, collaborative, able to work with and through others

The expected base salary range for this role nationally is $90,000-115,000. However, final base pay will be carefully determined based on several factors, including responsibilities, job-related skills, relevant experience, geographic location, and market conditions.
