At the core of Savanta is our exceptionally talented Research Operations team. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Survey Programmer with relevant experience and strong technical skills to join our team.
Savanta has offices in NYC and Toronto, and this role can be either remote or hybrid within the US, it is most suited to a candidate working East Coast hours.
About the Role:
A Senior Survey Programmer is responsible for programming complex online questionnaires, including survey scripting, managing languages, and reporting.
The role requires meeting Savanta's high quality standards as well as clients' requirements and deadlines. You need to be well-organized and detail-oriented, as well as manage numerous tasks at once, and tackle obstacles with a positive, can-do attitude.
This role requires the ability to work independently on projects and collaborate as a strong team member, helping other Programmers when workloads require and embracing Savanta's brand values.
You will work in a collaborative team environment in an entrepreneurial company culture. There is the opportunity to work on projects with high-profile clients with exposure to a diverse range of projects.

In addition to these qualities, our ideal Senior Survey Programmer should have:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in survey programming platforms, such as Confirmit, Decipher or similar
- Advanced knowledge of HTML / CSS, as well as good knowledge of JavaScript and jQuery
- Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple projects for on-time delivery
- Ability to train other programmers in the team
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the confidence to engage with a diverse group of people
- Ability to adapt and remain focused in a dynamic, fast paced and growing business
- Exceptional attention to detail with an analytical problem-solving mindset
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in documentation processes
