Key Requirements :
- Repairs and adjust conveyor systems, using hand tools. Installs belts in machinery,tightens bolts, adjusts tension rolls, straightens parts, aligns rollers and replaces defective parts.May also install, dismantle, or move machinery and heavy equipment if needed.Processing orders in a safe and efficient manner and operating light industrial equipmentCommunicating with supervisor regarding assigned orders, scheduling, and other production issuesEnsuring timely shipping of belting product; receiving shipments in a timely manner and ensuring delivery to correct recipientMaintaining shipping / receiving department with needed suppliesProcessing and maintaining reportsProviding on-call assistance as requiredRecognizing appropriate inventory usage and report low levels to supervisor, maintaining cycle counts log, and participating in once-a-year inventory
Job ExperienceThe person we are seeking must have worked in a manufacturing environment with a minimum of 5 years experience in equipment maintenance (mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic), fabrication (welding and machining), and general facility installation and repair. Work history must include belt conveyors, screw conveyors, air compressors, pumps, burners, blowers, and a preventive maintenance program is required as these systems are critical components of our process. A good working knowledge of electrical systems is also highly desired.
