Savard Personnel is Hiring a Material Handler in the Mandeville / Hammond Louisiana area # 20403
Job Environment : Indoor
Job Scope / Duties : Issue material to internal customers at the service counter within the storeroom.
Ensure material conforms to company specifications.
Ensure the accuracy of receiving movement orders and material movement orders.
Open, inspect, physically count, and ascertain material accuracy.
Initiate stock material transfer from order pick lists. Ensure the accuracy of material pulled to the project, work orders, and sales orders.
Store material in proper locations and ensure material is preserved via company procedures.
Conduct physical inventories of storeroom material, as directed using company procedures.
Initiate material movement of received to stores, shipping, manufacturing production line, or receiving as required.
Operate company forklift as required for material movement.
Operate company vehicle for internal and external mail delivery
Work history experience : High School diploma or GED
Two years experience in a warehouse operation
Working knowledge of personal computers and associated software in a manufacturing or industrial
environment.
Forklift certification or experience is mandatory.
Requirements : background, 10 panel, Able to lift 75lbs, forklift cert
Shifts / Hours :
M-F 7;00 am - 4;00 pm
Pay : 19-20 dollars per hour
Up to $800 weekly with 40 hours
