Savard is hiring an Mechanic for work in Geismar, Louisiana for Job #20702

Job Environment :

Recruiting for a company specializing in construction equipment rental, repair, and sales. The organization offers fast delivery and service worldwide.

Job Scope / Duties :

Perform troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on all rental equipment to ensure proper functionality.

Inspect incoming products and evaluate them for repair.

Complete tasks in a timely, self-directed manner.

Read tickets to locate specific tools and adequately add or remove from inventory after maintenance / repair.

Report work shortages and malfunctions of shop equipment to the Service Manager.

Work with tool categories including pneumatic winches / tuggers, chain hoists, pneumatic hoists, hydraulics, air compressors, pipe equipment, tube expanders for heat / boiler exchangers, impact wrenches, lighting, and compaction equipment.

Work History Experience :

At least 6 months of experience working on generator engines

At least 6 months of experience working on hydraulic air tools (required).

Must be a quick learner.

Must have a clean MVR

High School education requires the ability to read and write.

TWIC preferred.

Shifts / Hours :

Monday through Friday

7 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM

Pay :

Starting at $12 - $18 / hour DOE

Up to $855 with 47.5 hours weekly

Pay discussed during the interview.
