Savard is seeking a Senior AP / AR / Office Assistant with experience in Account Payable and Accounts Receivables. The ideal candidate will begin work from home and transition to a standard office environment in the future. This position is on a growth track in which the successful candidate can advance with the organization.

Lead Records & Accounting for a small Real Estate Company
Lead Records & Accounting for a privately held Yarn / Fabric Retail Store
Job Duties
Accurately record all financial transactions
In-depth knowledge in all facets of Quickbooks Online Version Environmental and Real Estate Companies), Desktop and Point of Sale (Yarn / Fabric Retail Store)
Maintain accurate Tax reporting and payments for Texas Sales Tax, Payroll Tax, Income Tax, Personal Property Tax (business), Real Estate Property and School Tax
Prepare financial reports for CPA, bank, and taxing authorities
Reconcile Quickbooks with bank accounts
Find financial anomalies and correct (journal entries, etc.)
Ability to provide financial reports (weekly, monthly, and yearly)
Payables and Collections
Ensure customers pay invoices in a timely manner thru continued communications
Ensure Vendors are paid per terms
Ensure timely processing of payroll
Direct Deposit
Monitor Accounts Payable Aging Report and follow up on past due accounts
MUST aggressively engage customers with past due invoices and collect payments
Generate customer statements
Apply customer payments to outstanding invoices
Investigate and resolve discrepancies in accounts payable and receivable records
Very Strong in MS Word, Excel, and all Office 365 business modules.
Knowledge and skilled in Cloud Based working environment with records retention and retrieval, HR docs, contracts, on-going jobs work sheets
Ability to set up execute meetings in Zoom, Teams, and Google Meets. Serve as the moderator in virtual meetings.
Strong organizational skills
Includes tracking daily work by field personnel
Ability to store and retrieve historical files
Establish and Implement file and tracking system
Receiving phone calls
Taking messages
Contacting Vendors
Contacting and updating clients with on-going projects.
Ability to work from home
Ability to focus with minimal distractions
Reliable transportation for routine mail pickup and light errands.
Work experience required :
Must have 3-5 years of proven experience in accounts payable and receivables
Previous office management experience preferred but not required
Must be knowledgeable in Quickbooks online and desktop version
Bilingual in English / Spanish is a plus
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Advanced knowledge of accounting principles
Great communication, math skills and financial knowledge
Working Conditions :
Work from Home and transition to a standard office environment in the future
Shifts / Hours :
Monday to Friday / 8 AM to 5 PM
40 Hours per week but must be flexible for possible OT
Pay : 25 to $35 an hour
Mileage reimbursement, applies for routine mail pickup and light errands.
Up to $1400 w / 40 hrs weekly
