OVERVIEW: The Sewing Machine Operator performs the tasks of cutting fabric / product, operating sewing machines, trimming threads and folding product with the appropriate user inserts, ensuring that the sewing production schedule is met.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
The employee may occasionally stand, walk, stoop, kneel or crouch during shift. Employee will be required to regularly sit, use hand to finger, handle, feel and reach with hands and arms. Employee must be able to occasionally lift and or move up to 25 lbs.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Cut, sew, trim threads and fold products, according to established guidelines and procedures.
- Perform Minor equipment maintenance, as needed.
- Maintain a clean and sage work environment at all times.
- Assist in manual cutting of fabric / product.
- Perform additional duties as requested / required by management.
- This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
- Follow policies and procedures.
- Is consistently at work and on time.
- Completes tasks on time or notifies management with an alternate plan.
- Monitors own work to ensure quality.
- Meets productivity standards.
- Observes safety and security procedures.
- Uses equipment and materials properly.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and or short memos.
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) and 2 or more years of industrial sewing experience.
