OVERVIEW : The CAD Drafter will be responsible for the control and completion of multiple AutoCAD and quotation projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, standards, and goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Use of AutoCAD to perform design / drawing work assigned.
- Use of ERP system or Excel to generates quotes as required.
- Works with site evaluations, sketches, verbal direction etc. to design, coordinate and prepare design drawings / quotations.
- Coordinates with direct sales reps and dealers.
- Coordinates with project management for installation estimates.
- Coordinates and monitors design drawings / quotations submission schedule.
- Produces design drawings as per detail given by client / manager.
- Creates and revises customer drawings and bill of materials / pricing based on varying provided documents.
- Generates quotations based on completed drawings as well as projects without drawings.
- Documents drawings and quotes with internal documentation daily.
- Ensures positive interaction with customers over the phone and via e-mail while verifying customer specifications.
- Accountable for meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
- Additional responsibilities as required.
