Position Summary:

The Human Resources Generalist plays a pivotal role in ensuring smooth and effective HR operations across the organization. This role is responsible for managing a broad range of human resources functions, including onboarding, employee relations, and enforcing policies throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Act as a trusted advisor to employees and management, addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and providing guidance on policies and procedures
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
Assist with audits and reporting related to HR compliance, including EEO and OSHA requirements
Oversee day-to-day HR functions such as managing employee records, leave of absence tracking, and benefit enrollments
Assist employees with benefits inquiries and sure timely resolution of issues
Oversee HR projects and initiatives in the HR Manager's absence.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or related field required
5 years of progressive HR experience with a solid understanding of HR principles, employment laws, and regulations
Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
SHRM-CP or PHR certification
