Position Summary
Savas Health is seeking an experienced Benefits Specialist to join the team! This is a great opportunity to work for a fast-growing company in the Healthcare sector!
This position will require travel to ALL 8 clinics across Riverside County and San Bernardino County on occasion.
Job Title: Benefits Specialist
Pay: $60,000 - $75,000
Job type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer employee benefits programs and ensure timely enrollment, changes, and terminations.
- Serve as the primary contact for employees regarding benefits-related inquiries.
- Maintain employee records in HRIS and benefits systems; audit and reconcile benefits data regularly.
- Coordinate annual open enrollment process, including communication materials and system updates.
- Liaise with insurance providers, brokers, and third-party administrators to resolve issues.
- Ensure compliance with ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, and other applicable laws and regulations.
- Process benefits invoices and reconcile monthly billing statements.
- Assist in developing and distributing benefit communications and employee education materials.
- Provide data and reporting for audits, surveys, and internal metrics as needed.
- Establish and maintain total employee rewards program
- Other relevant duties as assigned
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of employee benefits and relevant laws.
- Proficiency in HRIS and benefits administration systems (ADP Workforce Now preferred)
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Preferred Certifications:
- CEBS (Certified Employee Benefit Specialist)
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in benefits administration required
