Duties
- Operate cash registers and process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Assist with stocking shelves, ensuring products are displayed neatly and replenished as needed.
- Engage in upselling techniques to increase sales while maintaining a positive shopping atmosphere.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area and stockroom.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations throughout the store.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Familiarity with products and upselling techniques is beneficial.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone.
- Must be able to lift moderate weights and stand for extended periods during shifts.
