Grocery Store Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Grocery Manager to oversee the daily operations of our grocery department. Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the grocery department, including inventory management, merchandising, and sales strategies.
• Supervise and train grocery staff to ensure high levels of performance and customer service.
• Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate pricing and purchase products that meet market demands.
• Monitor sales trends and utilize retail math to analyze performance and make informed decisions.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
• Develop promotional strategies to increase sales and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Handle payroll processes for grocery department employees efficiently.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers by addressing their needs and feedback promptly.

Experience

• Proven experience in retail management or grocery store operations is essential.
• Strong background in market analysis, buying, and inventory control.
• Familiarity with retail sales techniques and customer service best practices.
• Bilingual skills are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse clientele.
• Proficiency in negotiating with vendors to secure favorable terms for the store.
• Knowledge of retail math principles to effectively manage budgets and forecasts.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 – 60 per week
