Purpose
Responsible for the replenishment, forecasting, and flow of goods from supplier to store for assigned category. Optimize inventory to maximize sales while meeting service level and in-stock requirements. Oversee entire PO lifecycle working cross functionally with various departments. Supply Chain Planner owns all aspects of inventory to their assigned category.
Responsibilities
Manage inbound, DC, and store inventory levels to ensure in-stock position, shelf life and days of supply meet Targets/KPIs set by senior leadership
Contribute to the development of strategies and improves supply chain performance
Lead collaboration meetings between Supply Chain, Merchandising, and Suppliers
Collaborate with merchant partners to align strategic business objectives and initiatives to drive demand and fulfillment plans
Accountable for achieving standard business/supply chain metrics and driving continuous improvement, including but not limited to inventory, in-stock levels, forecast accuracy, supplier performance, etc.
Develop forecast parameters for one or more categories
Analyze forecast accuracy to identify opportunities to improve service level and procurement shrink KPI’s.
Create and manage all Purchase orders and stock transfers (DC and Store)
Track and monitor inbound Purchase Orders to ensure products arrive in the most cost effective and efficient manner
Ensure maximum freshness/ date coding is delivered to the customer through efficient monitoring and actions taken to deliver expected targets
Act as a subject matter expert for Supply Chain and assigned Category
Perform other duties as assigned
About You
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred
1-3 years professional working experience in Replenishment, Inventory Management, Supply Chain, or related field
Microsoft office systems knowledge. Forecasting/Replenishment system knowledge a plus
Ability to adapt to change and work in a fast-paced work environment
Ability to form professional relationships that drive positive business results
Strong critical thinking skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and vendors
Physical Requirements
Ability to travel up to ~10% of the time, which may include weekends and evenings, as needed
Most work is performed in a temperature-controlled environment
Incumbent may sit for long periods of time at a desk or computer terminal
Incumbent may use calculators, keyboards, telephone, and other office equipment in the course of a normal workday
Stooping, bending, twisting, and reaching may be required in completion of job duties
Salary : $68,600 - $94,000
