What are the responsibilities and job description for the Officer, Donor Advised Fund Partnerships (P3) position at Save the Children US?
Save the Children
For over 100 years, Save the Children has been fighting for the rights of children. The right to a healthy start in life. To have access to education. To be in a safe environment, protected from harm. We work in some of the world’s hardest-to-reach places – over 100 countries, including the U.S. No matter what your role is, when you join Save the Children, you’re creating positive, irreversible change for children, and the future we all share.
The Role
As the Officer, Donor Advised Fund Partnerships, you’ll be integral to our work in helping vulnerable children achieve a brighter future. You will support the Partnerships and Philanthropy division’s efforts to maximize support from Donor Advised Funds (DAFs) for Save the Children’s priority program areas in both development and humanitarian contexts. Specifically, you will focus on three core areas: 1) reviewing and advising on incoming inquiries from Donor Advised funds and the best partnership strategies, 2) creating pitch and stewardship content and events – including co-marketing opportunities with DAFs – for the DAF market to support fundraisers who lead relationships with DAFs and other wealth advisors, and 3) managing our profiles on Candid and other third party websites where donors access independent charity ratings. You will work closely with operations, fundraising, program, marketing and communications colleagues.
