We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support and care to individuals in their own homes. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Monitor and record client health status, reporting any changes to healthcare professionals.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Administer medications as prescribed and ensure compliance with healthcare plans.
- Assist with mobility and physical therapy exercises as directed by healthcare providers.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare teams to develop personalized care plans.
- Stay informed about client medical history, including any relevant experiences in emergency medicine or trauma care.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of emergency medicine practices and protocols.
- Experience in hospital settings, particularly in areas such as OR (Operating Room), PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit), or Level I/II Trauma Centers.
- Ability to provide compassionate care while respecting client privacy and dignity.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Familiarity with medical-surgical procedures and clinic operations is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while ensuring high-quality care delivery.
- Willingness to engage in ongoing training and professional development opportunities related to caregiver practices.
