The Corporate Continuous Improvement Manager will be responsible for leading and implementing continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. This role will focus on enhancing operational efficiency, reducing waste, and improving overall performance by utilizing TPM continuous improvement methodologies.
Essential Functions
- Develop and Implement Continuous Improvement Strategies:
- Design and execute continuous improvement plans aligned with the company's strategic goals.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead projects to implement changes.
- Lead and Facilitate Improvement Projects:
- Utilize TPM methodologies to drive process improvements.
- Conduct root cause analysis and problem-solving sessions.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions to build continuous improvement capabilities within the organization.
- Monitor and Measure Performance:
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the success of improvement initiatives.
- Analyze data to identify trends and areas for further improvement.
- Report progress and outcomes to senior management.
- Collaborate with manufacturing facilities to standardize KPIs.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams:
- Work closely with various departments to ensure alignment and support for continuous improvement initiatives.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by engaging and motivating employees at all levels.
- Provide Training and Support:
- Develop and deliver training programs on continuous improvement tools and techniques.
- Mentor and coach employees to build their skills in continuous improvement methodologies.
Supervisory Responsibility: This position does not have any direct reports.
Travel: Up to 20% of time
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- TPM or TPM experience.
- Certification in Lean, Six Sigma (Black Belt or Master Black Belt preferred).
- Proven experience in leading continuous improvement initiatives in a corporate environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
