Job Summary:
This Shift Operations Manager role is responsible for leading the production team during absence of team lead and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a food manufacturing environment, be able to operate machinery during shift operation, and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sampling cheese for Ph & moisture checks in the berge press
- Cleaning and sanitizing all equipment in the goat production area
- Performing CIP on all equipment in the goat production area
- Identifying and reporting all machinery issues to maintenance
- Testing, recording, and adjusting dry salter throughout cheese salting process
Requirements:
- Able to speak, read, write and comprehend English
- Cheesemaker license required for level 3
- 1 year or more of Forklift Experience & Certification for Material Handler
