Responsibilities:
- Provide support to individuals with diverse needs, including those with autism, through the implementation of behavior management strategies.
- Assist with medication administration and ensure adherence to prescribed protocols.
- Support residents in daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and mobility assistance.
- Collaborate with social workers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Promote resident rights and ensure a safe and respectful environment.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and resident progress.
Requirements:
- Experience working with individuals with diverse needs, preferably in a residential or healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and ability to implement them effectively.
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols and ability to follow prescribed guidelines.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to lift and assist residents with mobility as needed.
- Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and evenings.
