Job Description
We are actively seeking a highly qualified Construction Safety Professional to support commercial construction projects in Salt Lake City. This role is ideal for a self-motivated safety expert with a strong background in risk mitigation and regulatory compliance, looking for a flexible, project-based opportunity.
The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting periodic site safety assessments, identifying hazards, providing actionable feedback, and ensuring alignment with federal, state, and site-specific safety protocols. This engagement will play a key role in maintaining a safe and compliant job site, while helping project teams strengthen their safety culture.
Scope of Work Includes:
- Facilitate an opening conference with site leadership and relevant stakeholders
- Conduct a comprehensive safety compliance and risk assessment of active job sites
- Perform a closing conference to review findings and immediate recommendations
- Deliver a detailed written report after each assessment, including observations, photos, identified risks, and proposed corrective actions
- Provide consultative support to improve on-site safety practices and ensure corrective measures are implemented effectively

Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in commercial construction safety
- Proven ability to identify hazards, document issues, and communicate corrective actions in a professional and effective manner
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, industry best practices, and jobsite safety standards
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Education and Certifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Construction Management, or a related field
- OSHA 510 or OSHA 500
- National safety certifications such as CSP, ASP, CHST, STSC, or GSP
Salary : $75 - $85
