Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee commercial and residential roofing projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, exceptional leadership skills, and a deep understanding of roofing systems. This role requires the ability to coordinate field operations, subcontractors, scheduling, budgeting, and quality control while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the planning, execution, and completion of roofing projects
- Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, suppliers, and inspectors
- Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met
- Oversee project budgets, monitor costs, and track progress
- Conduct job site inspections to ensure safety, quality, and compliance with plans/specs
- Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, crews, and upper management
- Resolve issues, delays, and change orders promptly and professionally
- Ensure OSHA compliance and enforce site safety standards
- Maintain detailed project documentation and reporting
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
- 5 years of experience in construction project management, preferably in roofing
- Strong knowledge of roofing systems (TPO, shingle, EPDM, metal, etc.)
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Buildertrend)
- Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and contracts
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Preferred Certifications:
- OSHA 30 Certification (required or obtained within 90 days)
- PMP or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) – a plus
- CPR/First Aid Certification (preferred)
- NRCA or other roofing-specific certifications (optional but advantageous)
