We are seeking a Clinic Scheduler to join our team! You will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of assigned patients.
Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls, schedule patients by phone
- Follow office/provider scheduling protocol
- Communicate with in-office providers regarding patient care and relay information to patients in a timely manner
- Confirm and update patients demographics
- Send detailed message to correct department i.e. triage, billing, referral and clinical staff
- Maintain accurate patient medical records
- Communicate with patients regarding lab results and advise care based on provider's recommendation
- Work as a team with other telephone operators to provide an exceptional patient experience
- Familiarity with medical software and equipment (Athena EHR,) - Training provided if not familiar.
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive approach to providing quality healthcare to all patients
- Reliability and ability to meet daily deadlines
