Savin Engineers is seeking a Civil Construction Inspector for LaGuardia Airport construction project. Primary inspection includes building concrete work, civil site work, paving, drainage systems, hydrant fuel systems, and structural.
Requirements :
- Ability to communicate both orally and in writing.
- Abilty to read and interpret plans, specs and prepare written reports.
- Identify potential extra work issues and keep Resident Engineer advised.
- Bachelor Degree in Civil or Structural preferred
- 4 years of experience inspecting construction work.
- Valid drivers license and obility to obtain SWAC and LGA SIDA clearance.
- OSHA 30-hour construction safety will need to be obtained
- ACI Construction Inspector and Work Zone Safety Certifications are desirable
